Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SocialFlow ("the Service"), you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for owners (or authorised social media managers acting with the owner's written permission) of Instagram Business accounts. By using the Service you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the right to manage every Instagram account you connect to the Service
- You will not use the Service to manage accounts that you do not own or are not authorised to manage
3. Description of the Service
SocialFlow provides authenticated users with the ability to:
- Connect one or more Instagram Business accounts via Instagram's official OAuth flow
- View profile information, follower analytics and post performance
- Read, reply to, hide and delete comments on the connected account's media
- Read and reply to direct messages on the connected account
- Schedule and publish Reels, Posts and Stories on the connected account
4. User responsibilities
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any person using your account to:
- Violate the Instagram Terms of Use or the Instagram Platform Policy
- Send spam, phishing messages, harassment, hate speech, or unlawful content via the Service
- Use the Service to manage Instagram accounts engaged in fraud, deceptive practices or impersonation
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security mechanisms or access controls of the Service or of Instagram
- Use the Service to scrape, copy or redistribute Instagram data in ways not allowed by Meta
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service in unauthorised ways
- Use the Service in violation of applicable Kazakhstan or international law
5. Account registration and security
- You are responsible for keeping your SocialFlow login credentials confidential
- You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
6. Instagram tokens
When you connect an Instagram Business account, the Service stores a long-lived access token issued by Instagram. You may revoke this token at any time by:
- Disconnecting the account from the SocialFlow Settings page, or
- Removing the SocialFlow application from your Instagram account at instagram.com/accounts/manage_access
Token revocation through Instagram triggers our data deletion callback, which removes the associated data from our database within 24 hours.
7. Intellectual property
- The Service, including its source code, design and branding, is owned by the operator of SocialFlow
- You retain all rights to the content (media, captions) that you upload through the Service
- By uploading content you grant the Service a limited licence to store, transmit and publish that content to Instagram on your behalf as instructed by you
8. Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation. Instagram API outages, rate limits or policy changes may impact functionality at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of SocialFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we believe that you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion procedures.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Kazakhstan.
